ComiXology is the premier provider of digital comics, with over 12,000 titles available through their iOS, Android, and Web storefronts, and exclusive partnerships with Marvel and DC Comics.

Plausible Labs originally worked with comiXology in March 2010 to prepare their iPhone application for release in time for the launch of Apple's iPad. The resulting application catapulted comiXology to the forefront of digital publishing. The Comics application, as well as the Marvel and DC Comics applications (also built by Plausible), are consistently in the top 50 Grossing Apps, and Comics was recently featured in Apple’s App Store Hall of Fame.

To meet the demands of their ever-expanding digital storefront and growing user-base, comiXology decided it was time to rethink the digital comic experience from scratch, and we were privileged to work with them once again in implementing a ground-up rewrite of the Comics application for the iPhone and iPad.
