How it Works

License our clone of Apple's CoverFlow™

Peeps automatically pulls photos from your iPhone's built-in address book and displays them in two unique views:

  • When you first load up Peeps, your contacts are displayed as a scrolling page of images. Choose the person you want to contact or edit by tapping their photo in the grid.
  • Rotate your phone to morph into landscape view. Just like album art in iTunes, you can scan through photos with the flick of a finger — tap a photo to flip it over and easily call, e-mail, or SMS!

Features

  • Fully integrated with the phone's built-in address book. Easily add, remove, or edit contacts.
  • Organize contacts with Peep's group manager.
  • Edit photos by taking a picture with the built-in camera or choosing a photo from your library.
  • Easily find your favorite contacts with Peeps' Photo Contacts viewing filter.

Settings

Customize your Peeps user interface with two options in the Settings application:

  • Image Scaling — Control the size of images in Cover Flow by toggling Scale Images ON.
  • List View with Search — Great for people with a lot of contacts! Toggle List View ON to view your contacts as a List of names and photos; tap the search bar to find a contact by keyword or letter.

Resources

Set your contact's photo

Besides taking a picture with the iPhone camera, there are several ways to set pictures for your contacts:

  • Sync your contacts with Google or Yahoo! contacts
  • Sync contacts and photos with your Address Book on Mac OS X
  • Sync photos with Microsoft Outlook
  • Sync photo albums with iPhoto: Open iPhoto and create a new photo album (File->New Album). Drag photos from your main Library into the new album. Sync the album with your phone by opening iTunes and selecting your phone from the Device menu (make sure your phone is plugged into your computer). From the Device screen, choose the Photos tab — toggle the checkbox next to the new photo album you created and hit Sync to sync the album with your phone. You can now set any photo from this library in the address book!
  • Save photos from the Web: Open Safari on your iPhone and browse to the photo you want to save. Hold down on the photo until a dialog box appears and choose Save Image. The photo is now saved in your Photo Album under Camera Roll.
